Various examples of pattern making, 3D printing, mold making, and resin casting. Once a master pattern is produced, a mold can be made from it for the purpose of casting copies of the part in resin. RTV (Room Temperature Vulcanizing) molds are made of silicone rubber, combined with a catalyst at a specific ratio. A vacuum chamber is typically required to remove air that becomes trapped in the rubber during the mixing process. It is then poured into a mold box, which contains the master pattern.
